NRPS was established in 1999 as an independent, selective, Orthodox Jewish school for children aged 2 to 11. We have grown to be a highly-regarded and flourishing, single form entry primary school with our own purpose-built building.
We aim, through our Nursery and Primary School to provide a first class education to boys and girls from the ages of 2½ to 11. We seek to provide a structured educational environment that develops our pupils’ capabilities, competences and skills. We promote the academic, moral and physical development of our pupils through our academic curriculum, pastoral care, social awareness and a wide variety other activities. We provide an educational environment where each student can develop and fulfil his or her potential, building their self-confidence and inculcating a desire to contribute to the wider community.
Care and respect for others permeate the entire curriculum. Our teachers create an exciting, stimulating and nurturing learning environment, in which there is good interaction between teacher and pupil. This is possible because of our small class sizes and high teacher to pupil ratio. Our children achieve because of the dynamic teaching they receive, the strong work ethic within the school and the high value given to education by our parents.
At NRPS we encourage our pupils to explore their world, we challenge the children independently and we promote creativity in an environment in which children experience the excitement and joy of learning.
